A media mashup consists of a combination of multiple sources of media into a derivative. New online collaborative media editing tools make it possible for numerous individuals to collaborate in creating collaborative media presentations, providing new opportunities for active learning and collaboration among students. This session will introduce a variety of media mashup tools and explore best practices for incorporating media mashup activities in the learning environment.
